Arriving in Reykjavík
The main international airport is Keflavík (KEF), located about 45 minutes from Reykjavík.
You can travel to the city by:
Airport Direct or Flybus (comfortable coach transfers operating after every flight)
You can also take a taxi from outside the terminal building, but please be aware that this option is rather costly.
If you arrive late, buses and taxis run throughout the night.
Tip: Book your transfer in advance to avoid queues — both Flybus and Airport Direct offer online booking.

Not necessarily. Iceland is part of the Schengen Area, which means visitors from many EU/EEA countries (and other visa-exempt nations) can enter for short stays without a special visa.
If you do come from a country that does require a Schengen visa, you’ll need to apply via the relevant embassy or consulate.
