The underlying principles of the Icelandic Prevention Model and the efficient structure and processes the Planet Youth Guidance Program provide for prevention work.
Speakers from around the world will share how communities are adapting the Planet Youth approach to their local realities, creating lasting, sustainable change through collaboration and shared commitment.
How is the Prevention Model being carried out in Iceland? Delivered by local NGO’s, municipalities, youth workers and more. Study visits in the afternoon.
For those interested in seeing the Icelandic Prevention Model in action, we offer a three-hour study visit in municipalities around Reykjavík on the final conference day. Seats are limited, so book yours early.
The Annual Planet Youth Conference will be held from May 6–8, 2026, at the Hotel Reykjavík Grand.
The program begins at 9:00 AM each day and concludes around 4:00 PM.
Registration will open on the first day, May 6, from 7:30 AM.
On May 8, lectures will finish at 12:00 PM, followed by lunch for all participants.
Study visits for registered attendees will take place from 1:00–4:00 PM.
The conference language is English.
The conference fee is 960 EUR per person, and participation in the study visit is 250 EUR per person.
Your registration includes:
– Lunch at Hotel Reykjavík Grand on all three days
– Coffee and light refreshments throughout the day
– A networking event on the first conference day
Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and transportation to and from the venue.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to conference@planetyouth.org.
– Cancellations made before April 6, 2026, will receive a full refund minus a 70 EUR administration fee.– No refunds will be issued for cancellations after April 6, though name changes may be made at any time.
– In the case of non-attendance, all fees are non-refundable.
