A Planet Youth delegation visited Naucalpan de Juárez in Mexico, where Planet Youth Naucalpan partners participated in the International Forum of Co-responsibility and Participation. The goal was to present the findings of the Youth and Wellbeing Survey, highlighting the importance of having up-to-date local and school-level data to support informed decision-making for the benefit of the community. This data helps identify risk factors, allowing for more effective prevention of substance use and other psychosocial risks. Additionally, a panel of experts provided insights and recommendations based on the survey results for the municipality of Naucalpan.

During the event, we witnessed an inspiring dialogue and a genuine commitment from government authorities, academic experts, and community members. This collaborative effort will undoubtedly help improve the environments in which children and adolescents in Naucalpan grow up.
