We were delighted to welcome President Halla Tómasdóttir to our office in Reykjavík. Her visit was a warm and memorable moment for our team. Over coffee and freshly made waffles—courtesy of our resident waffle maker and Chairman of the Board, Jón Sigfússon—we had the opportunity to share the mission that drives us each day. We spoke about the importance of supporting communities around the world in building healthier environments for children and youth through the Icelandic Prevention Model. The president’s visit was a meaningful show of support for long-term, community-based prevention work that puts young people first.
