In an effort to address the issue of violence among children and youth, our Chief Knowledge officer Margret Lilja Gudmundsdottir, is speaking at the PrevCon conference in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event, with the theme “Prevention of Children and Youth Violence,” aimed to find innovative strategies to create safer and more inclusive environments for all.
Key figures from various sectors gather on the 20th and 21st of June 2024 to discuss the theme of Child and Youth Violence Prevention in Local Communities. The conference, organized by the University of Tuzla in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Tuzla Canton, provided a platform for knowledge-sharing and best practices.
Margret Lilja Gudmundsdottir, the Chief Knowledge Officer of Planet Youth, is a keynote speaker at the event. The title of her presentation is: “The Icelandic Prevention Model – Improving Lives Based on Evidence.” Her insights and expertise will add a valuable perspective to the discussions on preventing violence and fostering healthy environments for children and youth.
